WeWork India, a flexible workspace provider, on Monday opened over 15,000 sq ft workspace at the Express Towers building in Nariman Point, Mumbai, the company said in a media release. The centre will have over 250 desks.
Karan Virwani, CEO, WeWork India said, "The future of the flexible workplace industry in India is promising, with demand at an all-time high after the unprecedented past year."
In July 2021, the company had leased out 17,000 sq ft area to 3M India, the Indian subsidiary of global technology giant 3M, at its Prestige Central facility, for a two-year period. About 400 employees of 3M India will sit at its new headquarter.
In April 2021, WeWork India had raised Rs 200 crore from investors, through a mix of debt and equity.
