WeWork | COVID-19

Help us keep you safe

The last few weeks have been challenging for us all and the COVID-19 spread has caused an
unprecedented change in how we work, travel, and live. While our spaces have always followed a high
level of hygiene, we understand that one can never be too careful with sanitisation and safety in the
post-COVID-19 world. Here are the precautions our community is following to ensure safety for all.

Masking and social distancing

  • Masks will be mandatory within our spaces as per government mandates. All members will be requested to arrange their own masks.
  • Members will be advised to avoid person-to-person contact, including handshakes and hugs.
  • Replacement of in-person meetings with calls, video conferencing, and emails even with people within the same building will be encouraged.
  • Floor markers in areas including elevators, turnstiles, and pantries will ensure a distance of 6 feet between people.
  • The use of staircases will be encouraged to minimise crowding in elevators wherever possible.
  • Members will be encouraged to eat their lunch at their desks.
  • Seating layout in the common areas will be revised to ensure a minimum of 6-feet distance between two seats.

Access protocol

  • All members will undergo a temperature screening at the main gate.
  • Visitors will be allowed in the buildings with mandatory self-declaration of health fitness, face masks, and temperature checks.
  • Stationery will be available to members and employees only on demand at the community bar.
  • A list of authorised hospitals for COVID-19 treatment will be available with the community team.
  • Business hours will be followed as per the latest government guidelines applicable to the state/city. The respective building Community Teams will inform members of any changes in timings.

  • All areas inside the WeWork premises will be disinfected regularly in close coordination with the building management.
  • High-touch surfaces including lift buttons, door handles, and pantry surfaces will be cleaned with increased frequency and care every 30 minutes.
  • Optimum stock of hand sanitisers and soap dispensers will be ensured.
  • Hand sanitisers will be installed at the community bar, pantries, elevators, and other common areas in the building, along with signages to promote frequent use.
